Octavio Llano Mestres the 3rd 

Animator/ Production Designer/ Marinero

Raised on the Sea of Cortez, Octavio Llano grew up writing, drawing and fishing for marlin. 

Octavio attended Parsons the New School for Design in New York for a B.F.A in Animation/Illustration and later USC School of Cinematic Arts for an MFA in Film and Television Production.

His work has screened at the Berlinale International Film Festival , Morelia International Film Festival and the Cannes Short Film Corner.

He often travels between Los Angeles, México City and New York City working ON productions for NETFLIX, WARNER BROS., 20th CENTURY FOX And CANANA FILMS.

A multilingual civis mundi, Octavio’s stylized approach to narrative explores ideas globally through his intricate Production Design, bold Animation and wild genre screenwriting.
